Yugawara has been known for it’s beautiful colored leaves. The maple of Yugawara begins to change color start from the area of Daikanzan Mountain and Oku-Yugawara, slowly toward to the downtown area. At Daikanzan Mountain areas, since there are lots of trees with “yellow” leaves when the Autumn comes, the whole mountain is lightened in golden color. What a magnificent and spectacular view! In the good weather, you will have a great view of Mt. Fuji from the Daikanzan Mountain areas. Please enjoy the autumn colored leaves while driving to Hakone.

At Oku-Yugawara, a lot of maples are planted along the street, it is recommended in the red tunnel of the maple and the inn street which is restful to take a leisurely walk. In addition, there is the “Ikemine Hiking Course”in the Oku-Yugawara, and in this course, there is a new famous spot called”the land of maple”. Please come here, hiking while enjoying the autumn scenery.

Take a tea break in the tea-ceremony room designed by the famous architect.
