The lake which is full of nature close against Misaka Heap of mountains, Ashiwada Heap, and Aokigahara Jukai forest.
The lake locates between Misaka and Ashiwada Heaps, and Aokigahara Jukai forest spreads at the west side of this nature-rich lake. The depth of the water is 90.9m.
The area from Saiko Lake to Lake Shoji once was one big lake, but divided by the lava flow at the eruption of Mount Fuji and became the current form.
There are many guest houses and campgrounds in the shore, and the fishing is enjoyed actively.
