I paid a visit to the Fuji Shibazakura Festival held at Yamanashi Prefecture several days ago.

On May 4th, around 30% of flowers in the field were in blossom.
The flowerbed was still on its way towards a full blossom.

There were brochures written in English and Chinese prepared in the park.
Many visitors were from the foreign countries.

It is recommended to take a side trip at here when touring around Mt. Fuji by car.

There are other sightseeing spots in the neighborhood such as the five lakes of Fuji.

The food shown in the picture is called “Houtou Udon” which is a popular food of Yamanashi.
A tasty Japanese noodle (Udon) cooked with a lot of vegetables.
