We went to the sea today!
Though I came to the sea, I only played a little by the sea. Well, there is somewhere more interesting!
It’s Ito’s “roadside station” called Ito Marine Town~!

As I walked the seashore from JR Ito Station for 20 minutes, a colorful castle got into my eyes.

After all seaside with romantic buildings can make me happy!
By the way, “the roadside station” has souvenir shops and restaurants in the road and plays a role of a local promotion facility as well as rest area.
It is basically a port.

You can enjoy the local taste only in the hometown in the foreign castle such as sweets using tea and the mandarin oranges of Shizuoka Prefecture which are special products, or dishes using fresh marine products.

You can do a lot of tasting at the souvenir shops!
I liked seafood and scallops soaked in kimchi, but the smell were a bit too strong. . . It is slightly impossible to take it home. . .
The ramen which I ate called Original Jangara Ramen was really delicious too!

By the way, let me introduce more of attractions♪
This is a seaside promenade beside the breakwaters called “Ito Marine Road”. A lot of gulls take a break here.
When seagulls flying high freely I can’t help feeling what if I could… of course there is no way.
It’s cute even it seems absentminded figure.
Feeling sea breeze on my face and a seagull flying over, it’s slightly diverting.
There is the bronze statue called “Ai Sing” at the end of the road.
This promenade is registered with sacred place for lovers satellite.

There is the place to heal your fatigue!

In outdoor footbath “Atta-marina,” is Kanto’s largest. You can take the fatigue of the foot while looking at the sea.
As well as a footbath, there is the hot spring for spot visitor, too. The large communal bathes and a natural bath will heal your tired body.

There is the pleasure boat service too. But I didn’t feel like getting on very much because the weather was not fine.

Finally, I’m gonna take a souvenir picture here.

If you have a chance to stop at Ito Marin Town take some rehab time here by all means.
