“Shinsui Kouen Park” spreads out to the south of the sun beach.

Atami City and Sanremo City of north Italy are sister cities, also the topography and cityscape of the two are similar, Atam has designed for a image of resort in northern Mediterranean Sea. Many people visit here every day for a walk, sunbathing, a memorial picture taking etc.

The first ward including”a moon terrace” has completed in March 1997 (approximately 170m X 50m in depth). The second has completed March 2000. A third ward (approximately 160m long X 40m wide) was completed in April 2009.
As for the nickname, the first ward is called “beach deck” the second ward “rainbow deck” the 3rd “sky deck”.

The first ward “sky deck” which imitate “Cote D’Azur” of Southern Europe Style is made with bricks. The second ward “rainbow deck” reflects the image of “Sanremo Rivera Coast” in north Italy and since it’s in open space there are plazas, sidewalks and restroom made with stones.
And the third ward inbetween (approximately 160m long X 50m wide)has been completed in April, 2009. Reflecting the image of “the Naples shore of south Italy”, a flower and the tree were planted, too. (a rest area and the fountain will open in future, too)
