Atami Castle Cherry Blossom Festival

This year, the Cherry Blossom Festival will be held during March 21 (Fri.) to April 6 (Sun.) at Atami Castle.
The festival will take place at the Misaki Garden in front of Atami Castle, there are 200 Yoshino cherry trees already in full blossom around the castle. During night, there will be light illumination in the garden, visitors can view flowers or hold parties under cherry trees in a fantastic atmosphere created by the light.
During the festival, in addition to the restaurant HILLTOP TERRACE, there will be various food stands offering grilled stick chicken, beer, Japanese fried noodle, fried chicken, Japanese sake, amazake (a sweet drink made from fermented rice), pork miso soup and so on, visitors can also enjoy Karaoke.
Zushu-Ajiro Taiko (Japanese drum) performance is scheduled on March 29 (Sat.) and 30 (Sun.) start from 1 p.m. (rain out), create an exciting and enthusiastic atmosphere for the festival.
