One of popular spots of “Top 100 of Japanese Historical Parks” and “Top 100 Japanese Cherry Blossom Viewing” in Kanto Area.
Odawara-jo Castle began building in mid-15th century when Omori clan advanced against the Odawara district. In the 1500s it became a residence of Odawara Hojo clan, the warring lord, gradually expanded as a Kanto central base. And, for the next attack by Hideyoshi Toyotomi a large-scale contour around and beneith was completed. A sight of the medieval castles of the best largest of Japan is awesome.
