Irozaki Lighthouse Public Open Day in November

In order to spread the knowledge of marine safety, we planned to open Irozaki Lighthouse to the public based on the following scheme.
The public can enter the lighthouse and have a look of the picture exhibition of the lighthouse on the open day. We hope can enhance the understanding of marine rescue operation through this activity.
Located in a beautiful surrounding of a national park at the southernmost part of Izu Peninsula, the lighthouse was first lightened up as a guide for the marine transport in 1871. You can have a magnificent view from the upper observation deck of the lighthouse where is not usually opened to the public.
