From Ito Station on Tokai bus you will arrive at the Kawana Beach in around 20 minutes ride.

Iruka Shore and Kawana Beach next each other. It lies Iruka Beach Park inbetween.
Two places in a row but the have totally different atmospheres.

Kawana beach is not a sandy beach but the seaside of gems and stones . Thanks to the gravel shore of Iruka is quiet.
Though every person has different preference, I like here better.
As for my impression of Izu, the seawater here is the most beautiful! It is so awesome, deep and clear.
We can view scenery of the circumference beautifully to far-off island on clear day, too.

This shore is short, but is not crowded in particular because there are not so many tourists.

There is fish in water! We escape at great speed when we run after.
Still we saw small fish a lot of families caught by.
And there are quite many people who are, or do fishing in beach Park. I am interested than fishing toward the sea.

Person who does families, fishing to be caught in university student, fish playing volleyball. We can enjoy various sea play here.

However, there is place where we cannot be satisfied only with one.
Because it is far from Izu immediate Kawana Station, traffic is inconvenient! Although there is bus stop near, only as for one, bus goes an hour. It takes half-hour soon when we walk to Kawana Station.
Because there are few buses, please check bus timetable well.
