Manyo Koen Park locates in the center of the spa resort town and many manyo (myriad leaves) plants are planted in here.
There are a monument in Manyoutei building of ancient style, whichinscribed with a tanka poem of Doppo Kunikida which is the only song about hot spring in the ancient Manyoshu collection book.
In addition, there is a miraculous shrine of god of hot spring called Kumano Shrine, and local people have a good faith in Spa God.
