There are 5 lakes in the foot of Mount Fuji called Lake Yamanaka, Lake Kawaguchi, Saiko, Lake Shoji, Lake Motosuand, to put them all together and it’s called “Fuji Five Lakes”.

All of them seemed to be formed slowly by several times of large-scale eruption of Mount Fuji.

By the way, do you know that there is the time when snowcap of Mount Fuji is not seen?

In fact, I thought that Mount Fuji had covered with snow throughout the year. Therefore I was disappointed a little when I saw a summer figure of Mount Fuji for the first time.

Besides, Mount Fuji can not be seen behind a cloud especially cloudy days in summer.

Still there is some fun you can enjoy only in summer lakes of Fuji Five Lakes.

Besides, the scenery of the lake is beautiful on clear days!

The advice to people who want to see snowcap of Mount Fuji by all means here.

Snowcap of Mount Fuji can be seen in following conditions.

・From Yamanashi side it is from the end of October to the end of June

・From Shizuoka side is from the middle of November to the middle of June

Please check the schedule of your trip well to have a good memory.

I saw Mount Fuji only in Saiko after all though I came to the foot of Mount Fuji.

By the way, I went along Fujikyu Highland on the way to Mount Fuji.
Attractions named overbearing (large-scale roller coaster) and Shining flower (Ferris wheel) seems to be great, but since I’m afraid of heights I got to give them up. ((•﹏•๑))):
