Spring Mountain Burning at Mt. Omuroyama 2015

Mt. Omuroyama is covered with pampas grass in winter. Every spring, the grass on the mountain will be burned out by a control burning last for 30 minutes.
It is a tradition continued for more than 700 years! The whole mountain burning will be hold at Feb 8th, Sunday.
