Izunokuni Panorama Park

Enjoy the stunningly beautiful landscapes here!

You can have a clear view of magnificent scene of Mt. Fuji and the sounding abundant nature. It cost 7 minutes to reach the mountain top by a ropeway train, it is 1800 meters from the foot to the top.

There are seasonal flowers and abundant greenish areas on the Mountaintop Park where you can enjoy the broad panorama view of Mt. Fuji, Suruga Bay, Hakone, Amagi mountains.

From middle April to early May, there will be an azalea festival taking place at the mountaintop where 35,000 azaleas in full flourish.

Business housrs Ropeway upward 9:00-16:40 (16:10 on Oce 16 to Feb 15)
Ropeway downward 9:00-17:10 (16:40 on Oct 16 to Feb 15)
Fee – Ropeway
Adult (middle school students and above): 1,220 yen (round trip), 620 yen (one way)
Children (elementary school students and under) 610 yen (round trip), 310 yen (one way)
* Children at the age under elementary school are free. However, each adult passenger can only bring one child under elementary school for free. *infant is free.
Getting there – By car
Approx. 40 minutes from Numazu IC via Izu-Chuo Road to Nagaoka IC.
Approx. 20 minutes from Shuzenji Onsen via Shuzenji Road. – By train and bus
From Izu-Nagaoka Station of Izu-Hakone-Tetsudo Line, take a bus for 15 minutes and get off at Izunokunishiyakusho-mae bus stop, walk from there for 1 minute.
From JR Shinjuku Station, take a shuttle bus of Izu-Shinkuku Liner for approx. 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Parking lot 30 spaces for bus, 200 spaces for normal size car, free to use.
