Parking lot Toll parking lots available
Access by public transport: Get off at the Yugawara Staion of the JR Tokaido Line, take a bus for Kajiya for 10 minutes and get off at the Shinryojo-Mae bus stop, from there walk for about 25 minutes.

Scenery of Yugawara Bairin (Plum Grove)

The plum trees begin blossom from early February, plum flowers can be enjoyed until the mid-March. There are 4,000 plum trees with red and white flowers all spreading over the whole slop of the Mr. Makuyama. When come to watch the flowers, It is recommended visitors wear clothes that is easy to move such like the clothes for mountain hiking.

Stalls in the flowering season

During the plum flowering season, there are many shops and stalls selling the local specialties of the Yugawara area. After watching the flowers and hiking in the mountain, it is always best to have a great meal.

Sichuanese Style Yakisoba (fried noodle)

The noodle became famous after it was sold at the B-1 Grand Prix of Atsuki City in 2010. Anyone comes to the Yugawara-cho must have a taste of it. This specially made fired noodle uses ingredients of grated sesame and Chinese chili bean sauce for a hot chili taste.
