Report on the 2014 Haruki Road and Shiawase Road Cherry Festival

During the 3-day consecutive holidays from March 21st (Fri.) to 23rd (Sun.),, 2014, I had a visit to the Haruki Road and Shiawase Road Cherry Festival which was held at Minami-ashigara-shi, Kanagawa.The cherry trees are already in full blossom during the holidays, so if you wish to visit the place and have a look of the beautiful flowers, then best hurry up before the end of this month.
The name of the road, Haruki-michi, was originated from the cherry trees planted along side the road in order to commemorate the great achievement of Sakae Haruki, the fonder of Fujifilm, who had made enormous contribution to the development of Minamiashigara City.
