Address The neighborhood of 817, Sengokuhara, Hakone-machi, Ashigarashimo-gun, Kanagawa
Parking lot Temporarily free parking lot (During September to the end of November)
Access by public transport: From the Hakone-Yumoto Staion of the Hakone-Tozan Raiway, take a mountain climbing bus for Kojiri and Tougendai, get off at the bus stop of Sengokuhara-Kougen (Highlands). The location is near to the bus stop.

Sengokuhara Highlands

It is a place where Japanese pampas grass greeting in full boom from late September through November. During its autumn season, The Sengokuhara Highlands becomes a fascinating sightseeing place which was chosen as one of the top fifty sceneries of the Kanagawa Prefecture. (The photo was taken in early September)

In the middle of September, a bus dedicate for people who visit the pampas grass of Sengokuhara is running temporarily only in Saturday and Sunday. From September to November, there will be temporary parking lots for tourists’ convenience.
